Mark Houlding

Mark trained in Fine Art at Maidstone College and The Royal College of Art. He now lives and works in Fowey. His work explores the sensuality of a first summer romance through fruit forms. He uses an exotic palette of "spirit stain" pigment poured and dribbled on wood panels. Natural shapes perform like glowing planets.  Simplicity of form juxtaposed by the complex use of colour.
