Keith Bunt is a Cornish artist, who was born in and has lived in Cornwall all his life. His subjects are those that are most familiar to him. The River Fowey, and the South coast from St. Austell Bay to Lands End, with occasional forays to the North coast. His work is charged with an assured understanding of technique and sympathetic use of materials. The paintings are pared down using simple gesture and form in a visually poetic response to the landscapes he knows so well.
