We are pleased to show work by Nathan Davies.
Nathan develops his strong, pared-back images using combinations of mixed media and oil on canvas, linen, wood panel or paper, often placing pattern and texture in layers to create complex textured surfaces. His subjects are drawn from his local landscape, places he loves to visit and domestic interiors that include familiar objects that he treasures.
In combination this deceptively simple work creates evocative and lyrical images which resonate with colour texture, pattern and emotion. |
