Local artist Catherine originally trained in ceramics and worked as a potter.
Her recent work explores the idea of gentle visual narrative using complex layers of colour, pattern and texture.
Lucy works on board which she cuts, scores and primes using traditional gesso.
The result are dream like landscapes inhabited by curious dogs, small birds and butterflies in colour laden gardens. |
